GENERAL CARE

Care of Exotic Cats - Kittens Saaneaa Exotics uses hairball control cat foods. It has helped in giving our cats a shiny coats, as well as helping with the hairballs. We recommend you be careful of cat food with gluten.



CARING FOR YOUR NEW KITTEN

Cat Litter 1. Saaneaa Exotics have been litter box trained, with feline Pine litter. It is best to use that until they are at least 6 months of age but you can continue to use it all there life. It is healthy produces no dust, no tracking no mess and pine freshness!

Love for kitten 2. Love love love your kitten! The first few days are the hardest some adjust quickly others are scared of the new environment. Remember they were just taken away from there mommy and brothers and sisters!!!

Kitten Vet Visit 3. Take your kitty to the vet asap. Not only for the contract but also for your peace of mind. Saaneaa Exotics also wants to make sure your shipped pet is healthy and safe. Our number one goal is to have healthy kittens and cats. Make sure your kitten doesn't get a cold or dehydrated due to the stressful move

Introducing New Kitten to other animals 4. Make sure if you have a dog or another pet, that you put them away from the kitten until the kitten is ready for the connection and be present when they meet!

Spaying/Neutering Your New Kitten 5. Spay/neuter you pet unless they are show or breeding this will eliminate other feline issues

New Kitten Shots 6. They get there first shot at 9 weeks then get one more at 12 weeks also rabies can be given at 12 weeks

Baby proof your home for kitten 7. Baby proof your home be aware of electric cords etc.

New Kitten Questions or Concerns 8. Call or email with questions or concerns or call your vet.
